Due to high inflation rates, rare supply and out season demands the saffron price rose above 3000 USD.
As its listed in many online shops, saffron price has reached to 3000 USD/kg in the United Stats; because of high demand, inflation and supply shortage.
According to our local reporters, the shortage is caused as one Iranian brands has illegally imported its products to the country.
And FDA has sized the illegal imported saffron from stores.
